AIR MED CAMBODIA, proudly operated by Helicopters Cambodia, is a pioneering emergency medical evacuation (Medevac) initiative designed to provide fast and effective rescue services across the nation. Our primary goal is to completely eliminate distance as a barrier to survival, rapidly connecting patients in remote provinces and urban areas directly to advanced critical care facilities in Phnom Penh and regional hubs.

The Technology:

Flying Intensive Care Units To achieve this rapid-response capability, our operations rely on a dedicated fleet of twin-engine medical helicopters, prominently featuring EMS-configured aircraft with registrations N415HH and XU-117. These helicopters are much more than transport vehicles; they are flying intensive care units. Each aircraft is fully outfitted with specialized stretcher layouts, life-support machinery, and dedicated medical bays. This advanced setup allows our teams to safely extract, stabilize, and transport patients suffering from critical medical emergencies like severe trauma, strokes, or cardiac events.

The Team and the Ecosystem:

Executing these complex rescue operations and emergency transports requires an elite, multidisciplinary team of pilots, rescue assistants, and medical personnel. As established in our core rapid-response team, leaders like Director of Operations Mr. Cris Bone and Pilot Mr. Show Aidan command the skies, while critical care experts like Paramedic Mr. Dirk Zylla operate the medical bays (Note: specific team member names are drawn from our conversation history).

We are partnered directly with top-tier healthcare institutions, including Royal Phnom Penh Hospital and Intercare Hospital. Through our direct partnership agreement, Intercare Hospital specifically provides highly trained on-board doctors for our rescue missions.
